WATER LILY FLOWER STEMS Hand Carved Rosewood Block Stamp

This lovely Waterlity flower stems stamp is 4.6x3.7 inches (116x93 mm) and 1.1 inches (28 mm) thick.

These Hand carved wood textile blocks were traditionally used to print on textiles using natural dyes derived from plants, and other organic sources. Block Printing is an ancient Indian art of printing, especially on fabrics & textiles, dating as far back as the 12th century. But the possibilities for their use are endless. You can also use these wooden stamps for stamping or printing on paper, fabrics, tiles, wallpaper, doing temporary henna tattoos, batik, scrapbooking, and impressing clay (for ceramics/pottery/jewelry etc), handmade soaps, leather, handmade candles or use as a cookie stamp or on fondant etc. They can be used practically anywhere; just use your imagination!

Due to the handmade nature of stamps, no two pieces would be exactly identical

Please make sure that the stamp is thoroughly dried after use before putting it away. Store these in a dry place and it’ll last you forever.

These are carved out from various seasoned woods, including teak wood but a majority is carved of sustainably harvested brown hard Indian sheesham wood (also known as Indian Rosewood - a member of the Teak family). These stamps are carved by skilled craftsmen.
